Participation and curation
  • To ensure a balanced and high-quality mix of stalls, SoCro Art reserves the right to curate stallholders where necessary. Applications are rarely declined unless products are not handmade, lack a creative element, or include inappropriate or controversial content.
  • Applications are welcome from emerging and established artists, designers, makers and artisans.
  • Stallholders must be aged 18 or over. Younger creatives may take part provided they are supervised by a responsible adult on the day.
  • All products for sale must be handmade and designed by the stallholder. Mass-produced items are not permitted.
  • Food and drink vendors are not accepted as this is a creative and makers-led programme.
Stall setup
  • Each stallholder is allocated a 2m x 2m space, including one table and one chair.
  • Additional display items (easels, rails, stands) are welcome provided everything fits safely within the allocated space and does not obstruct neighbouring stalls or public walkways.
  • Exhibits must remain in place for the full duration of the trading day. Packing up early without permission may affect future bookings.
  • In the event of unsuitable weather conditions (such as heavy rain or extreme cold), an alternative date will be agreed with the stallholder at no additional cost, subject to availability.
Bookings and payment
  • Stall fees must be paid in full to secure a booking.
  • Stallholders are responsible for their own payment devices and public liability insurance. Café Wi-Fi will be available on the day should mobile signal be limited.
  • No commission is taken on sales.
Cancellations
  • Cancellations must be received by email.
  • Where possible, we will try to reallocate cancelled spaces, however refunds cannot be guaranteed for late cancellations due to the limited nature of the pilot.
  • Any refunds issued may be subject to banking or processing fees.
Responsibility and conduct
  • SoCro Art accepts no responsibility for loss, theft, damage or injury relating to individual stalls or stock.
  • Stallholders are responsible for keeping their area tidy and clearing away any rubbish at the end of the day.
  • In the interest of health and safety, no smoking or vaping is permitted within the venue.
