From intricate pottery and dazzling jewellery to captivating paintings and sculptures, the first SoCro Art Fair (5th November 2023) featured 38 stallholders and welcomed over 300 visitors. The fair displayed an array of exquisite artworks where every piece told a story, crafted with love and passion by talented artisans.

"As an established Croydon designer and keen supporter of local arts scene, I was excited for the formation of a new creative community with the launch of the first SoCro fair in November. It was clear from the start that Sharmina, an artist and educator, had curated the collective with great care and passion, and - as a result of her hard work and dedication - the first event was an overwhelming success. "I am really so glad that we had an art fair in Croydon. Your choice of venue was fantastic. The hall was huge and there were so many variety of artists. "This was my first local art fair which turned out to be an exhilarating experience. The other artists and makers were so generous and helpful. The space was light and airy which was a great change from the usual dark and hazardous spaces I’m used to visiting. The communication and information from the organisers was so helpful, and timely.
