Team N' Work

Let your team's creative side shine through

Whist we can’t all be Einstein, Chopin or Michelangelo, everyone can be creative; we all have it and use it daily without realising it, to do our job and run our household by making decisions and solving problems. All we need is imagination and the desire to try to make it happen without the fear factor. What a better way than an imaginative team building activity that enables people to combine their experience and creative side to generate innovative ideas whilst having some fun.

With the recent evolution towards hybrid working, companies are now faced with a number of challenges: reduced team and cross function interactions as well as a lack of sense of community leading to employee isolation and demotivation, and ultimately to poor performance and mental health problems. As a result, many organisations are keen to increase their employee’s sense of belonging with F2F interactive experiences in the workplace. This is where our fun, interactive and creative sessions can help your business to boost productivity and engagement back to work.

Arts and crafts have the potential to be a powerful tool for developing employee wellbeing and supporting mental health. Many studies have shown that engaging in creative activities can reduce stress, boost self-esteem, increase social connections, and enhance cognitive function. Incorporating arts and crafts into your workplace can be a simple yet an effective way to achieve a sense of calmness, relaxation and contentment.

Here is how our creative activities could be used to achieve these outcomes in a workplace setting:

  • Art-based team building activities – helping your team members to connect and bond with each other through a one-off or more regular creative sessions. For example, a team could work together to create a collaborative mural or sculpture that represents their shared goals or values
  • Mindful Artistic Workshop subscription – in the same way a gym membership can enhance our well-being, a regular 45-minute workshop on a variety of art forms will have long term benefits, helping your employees to develop new skills and encourage self-expression and creativity
  • A programme of 10 therapeutic art sessions (this is not art therapy) – encouraging your employees (individually or in a small group) to better understand their thoughts, feelings and behaviours with creative activities to build their inner strength
  • Art exhibitions – hosting art exhibitions in the workplace, featuring the work of employees created in our art sessions or outside, providing a creative outlet for employees and enhancing their sense of pride and engagement in the workplace. After all, with art, there is no right or wrong, just a matter of opinion.

Team N’ Work runs creative activities in the form of traditional team building that encourages communication, collaboration and planning skills with a strong emphasis on the process rather than the outcome to boost morale in a fun and relaxed setting. Our workshops are designed for all abilities, ages and group sizes and enables each participant to think outside the box by using their imagination and creativity.

Our USP is that we can tailor activities to meet the clients’ requirements using non-conforming techniques and methods such as painting with syringes and cotton buds, painting with wax, building a spaghetti structure with marshmallow, making a tree of strength with buttons, creating a sculpture with recycled materials or decorating a gingerbread house with sweets. Or simply, have experiment with fun arts & crafts projects.

We also organise sessions in the workplace for teams who want to bring their children to work.

Designed to suit all levels and age groups, our light-hearted sessions are the perfect option for groups to build teamwork and individuals to develop camaraderie whilst learning something different, fun and unique together. So if your company is looking for something unarthodox to meet business needs and budgets at a personal level, team level or organisational level (e.g. cross functional teams), we will be happy discuss your requirements in more detail to help your employees perform better in and out of work.

Managing Director UK & IE, Rituals Cosmetics

This wasn't just any gingerbread making. Not only did we have to use creativity and our teamwork skills, but we could only get our decorations by answering a quiz. It was fun, engaging, interactive and we had to use our brains too which was a nice challenge. We loved it!

Global Head of Change, Axis Capital

Sharmina ran our Children’s Event in the office for us at Axis Capital for Christmas.

She brought with her a whole host of activities and entertainment for children of all ages and adults. Everyone took part in some shape or form and walked away with a smile on their face after a morning of laughter.

It was really nice to see the employees children in our office environment experiencing where their parents work and being able to have some fun at the same time thanks to Sharmina.

Thank you soo much for accommodating us very last minute this year! We are already planning what Sharmina can do next year!
