Description

Cloisonné might sound complicated, but it really is not.

It is all about creating delicate wire outlines and filling the spaces with inked sand. Line, shape, patience and a little bit of trust in the process.

In this workshop, you will learn how to form simple wire sections and build colour within them to create beautiful pieces. It is precise, yes, but also surprisingly relaxing. The kind of focus that helps you switch off from everything else.

You do not need to be “naturally talented”. Skills can be learned. Confidence grows through doing. I will guide you step by step, but your design choices are entirely your own.

All materials are provided. Just bring your enthusiasm.

You will leave with a finished piece and, more importantly, the quiet satisfaction of having learned something new.
