Examples of our involvement...

Case Study 1: Office Artwork Procurement

Liberté d´Expression was commissioned by Thomson Scientific & Healthcare to provide artwork for its new premises in central London (the total surface covered 4 modern open plan floors) as well as a tailored made installation for the reception area.

(Ongoing project- shortlisted concepts for the reception area)

Another exciting project for Liberté d’Expression. ING Real Estate moved in their new premises in 2007 and now looking to “dress up” their offices (2 floors) with contemporary pieces of art.

(Ongoing project).

Case Study 2: Restaurant Artwork Procurement

LS Design Consultancy Ltd asked Liberté d´Expression to come up with some concepts for their client SAF Catering limited. The restaurant located in Old Street will open its doors in April 2008. The simplicity, organic feel and freshness of Anna’s proposal met the client’s requirements perfectly for this project. Five beautiful oil paintings (1mx3m) built up in thin glazes to create a greater depth to the compositions were created to that effect.

Liberté d´Expression Ltd is working in collaboration with Pizza Express to provide tailor made artwork for their restaurants (painting on mirror, 3D installation, window graphic design, oil paintings, etc.). Their aim is to renovate their existing premises with artwork that relate to the local area and history of the premises.

(Ongoing projects)

Case Study 3: Short term installation of artwork

With the support of Barclays Bank, Communisis and Candid Arts Trust, Liberté d´Expression launched in 2006 a contemporary art competition in order to give painters across the UK exposure for their art, irrespective of their age, experience or artistic background. More than 500 artworks were submitted for consideration of which 70 paintings were selected for an eight days exhibition organised in Barclays Bank Global Headquarter in Canary Wharf and Candid Arts Trust in Islington. The exhibitions received over 500 visitors (including staff and clients) and sold nearly 1/3 of all paintings on offer.

All paintings sold through the competition saw 50% of the sale price go to the artist and 50% went to the NSPCC. In total £10,471.50 was raised for the NSPCC.
